Publishing for Kindle, iBook and hardcopy format means maintaining 3 different files. Ergo, anytime I make an update, I have to make it in 3 different places, and go through 3 totally different processes.
Although the most rewarding / easiest to use, I have to say that Amazon’s format is the most painful to work with. I use Mobipocket Creator. While I appreciate that it’s free and does its job, managing the file structure and table of contents is extremely cumbersome.
